Great place for parts, the gentleman who works in the parts department is very knowledgeable
What an absolute nightmare. Waited 20 minutes just to buy some chain lube and rim cleaner. Lady at the helmet section sees me waiting and getting frustrated and instead of calling somebody over just stands there like a scarecrow. This place is outdated and stuck in the past just like the staff who look like they are from the crypt. I wanted to support local because they are in my area literally 10 minutes from my house but took my business to GP Bikes in Durham. Upon entering, the lady spoke in an unnecessarily assertive tone. She could have explained things in a more subtle and courteous manner. It would have also been better if there were clear warnings posted about the glass area beforehand, especially since it’s not child-friendly. After she said that, we just decided to leave. It didn’t feel welcoming at all.
I was really impressed by this store and the volume of products they offered . I was even more impressed by the wonderful sales rep Tracy that showed me the gear l wanted . She really knew her products and has such a great personality and l enjoyed spending time with her . She is a true asset to store and had me at hello . I will definately return especially when she is working
Honest people with great service should not be as rare as it is. Thankfully the sales staff and shop have never let me down. Anyone that needs gear, a bike or repairs could go somewhere else but they should come here.
