The Best Bike Shop – Any bike shop needs to have the basics: knowledgeable staff, good mechanics, and good product. What sets CyclePath above the rest is their quick attention to my cycling problem, making me a priority, and taking the time to talk to me about my needs. These guys are top notch and it is a pleasure to go to their shop. Not to mention all the nice new eye candy to look at. CyclePath is the perfect bike shop.

Lots of eye candy – I like to go int there and look at bikes but the two owners, Josh and Bill, are arrogant bike snobs. Nonetheless, good service and a great place to go if you are new to high-end bikes. Bill gave me this goofy thesis about Pacific Rim bikes that made no sense because he sells them. Even US made frames are littered with oversees' parts. I don't know, I would recommend going in but bring a full wallet and be prepared from a lot of snobbery.

Awesome service – I drove all the way down to Cycle Path from Seattle to purchase a Pivot Mach 4 (completely sold out in WA). My buying experience was great. I was encouraged to take the bike out for a "real" test ride as opposed to just riding around in the parking lot or around the block. I wanted a few components swapped out and they did that on the spot with no problems and we took the extra time needed to dial in the fit and adjust suspension for to my liking. I used to race XC in college but have been out of the tech s... read more

high end shop that caters to every price point – As many reviews have noted, Cyclepath tends to be a high end shop where many of the bikes will cost more than your car. But they cater to every price point. I have had extensive work done on an older road bike (now a commuter) and was supplied with replacement parts that were very price appropriate for the job. I have also purchased a bike at what appears to be the lower end of what they stock but still received a ton of attention.

Another thumbs up~! – Cyclepath is a shop I have been going to for several years. why? because they have great customer service. they have always been friendly and un-pretentious. their mechanical skills surpass those of any other shop I have been to. They take the time to be VERY thorough with my bikes and treat em as if they were their own. They listen to my concerns and have never talked down to me. I have seen this same friendly interaction with all the other customers while I have been in the shop. It just goes to show ... read more

Best Shop in Portland, Hands Down! – The previous two reviews are clearly the same person looking to spread hatred and fuel a grudge. Stop by this incredible shop and check it out for yourself. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous and the place is stocked with an incredible assortment of beautiful frames, parts, built bikes and accessories.

Portland's worst bike shop... hands down – I went to this shop several months ago and couldn't believe I was still in Portland "Americas Best Cycling City" the attitude in there was truly appalling and insulting. I always believe in giving people a second chance, but cyclepath's second chance led me straight to the door. I was baffled at how the people working there could be so evasive, dismissive and arrogant. Had they proven me wrong I would have happily spent my money in there, but being made to feel like a lesser person ... read more

arrogance and attitude at it's best – I can't believe the absolute snobbery, arrogance and attitude in this place. I have never in my 35 years of cycling encountered such a crappy entitled attitude in a bike shop as I did in cyclepath. Sadly this is my neighborhood shop and by what they stock it would have been right up my alley, but I'll happily be spending my money elsewhere. I lived in NYC for 9 years and never encountered this kind of dismissive & pompous service even once. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this sho... read more

outrageously good service – I have never received service like this, the owner of the shop was awesome, one of those serious bike guys, PASSIONATE, he told me a few things i didn't know about my own maverick. (they don't even sell them) i had taken my bike to 4 different bike gallery locations (the maverick dealer) and river city , spent $95 and been without my bike for 3 weeks (of summer) just trying to get my derailleur working properly. not to mention being treated like a Palestinian in Israel at the latter shop. this guy... read more
