Calling to confirm a prescription is ready before my daughter drives over there, but I’ve been on hold for almost 30 minutes. I know I should hang up and call back, but I’m going to see how long it takes before they come back on the line. Unfortunately CVS has to be used otherwise I would use another pharmacy.

I have been going to this pharmacy for about 3 weeks now due to it being close to my wife's work. In every instance of trying to get refills at the pharmacy, I have had an issue. After sitting in the car for over an hour last time and then finally having to drive to Phenix city to fill the Rx, I learned my lesson to call first. So I called today, and was told, again that the Rx was not available since it was too soon to refill it (despite it being called in by the Dr.). I will never go here again. After being told that my medicine would be ready in an hour, two hours go by no call. I ride up there just thinking they got busy and didn't call, they closed! I know due to a storm it's okay to shut down early but not receiving a courtesy call for my sick child's medicine makes me so angry! I could of gone to Wal-Mart, but no, they still have my prescription and had the audacity to tell me to come back at 8 am... heck no. How in the world does this pharmacy stay in business? On Tuesday we left a script to be picked up on Friday. It is for a blood thinner for my 16 year old son due to a clot in his leg. We emphasized the importance of getting this on time. He simply can not miss a dose. They said they would order enough. On Thursday I called back to make sure they had enough. So I went into CVS to pick up some stuff and was told to remove my hoodie (It was 29 degrees outside). I then asked was this a company policy or a rule at this CVS. She said again, can you take it off. I then asked the same question again and she stated "I would feel more comfortable". WTH!!!!!!!!! Do I look suspicious? Let's just say it ended with her apologizing.
