Really disappointing experience. Was told there was a “system issue” getting insurance entered and they “didn’t have time to stop and call insurance” to figure it out after I confirmed it was the correct information and active. There seemed to be zero effort put into figuring out what was going on, especially considering I knew the insurance card was current and policy active - so seems like the issue was on the CVS side, not the insurance. First, the pharmacy did not let me know for 16 days that my medications was called in. I only found out from the doctor. When I called they were unwilling to accept the coupon from Good RX, and when I showed up were very rude when I asked about it again. Hostility, lack of professionalism, is all I can say about this experience. I was picking up a medication for my mom and noticed it was an old dosage and was concerned about her running out and having insurance issues later with refills. The assistant asked for help and the person that helps fill prescriptions came and began telling me what was the issue before I could tell him the back issue. Honestly, I don't understand what the use is of a pharmacy within Target if they won't help people. They were not visibly busy and when asked for help explained that they didn't need to help with anything in the pharmacy. What's the point of a CVS/Target partnership if the people working the pharmacy refuse to help customers. It continues to be a trade down from the Target pharmacy which was a trade down from the local pharmacies they helped put out of business.
