This CVS has entered a new phase in the late stage capitalist hellscape. Paradoxically, while you are forced to ring yourself out (self checkout only), you must summon an employee to each aisle you want to collect something from as virtually everything is now locked in a glass cabinet.
This pharmacy is understaffed and consistently bad communicators. It’s not unusual for them to delay your medicine for days or more. My doctor has called the pharmacy several times in the last 2 weeks to understand why they can’t fill a simple prescription. After she calls they resolve it but it takes several days for them to get it right. I find the staff is helpful and polite. The pharmacist is available for questions.
I am speechless. I have NEVER experienced this level of rudeness, inconsiderate and unprofessional behavior by a pharmacy associate. Standing in line to pick up prescription, two customers in front of me. When it’s my turn I step up to the counter and without a word, the lady, or more accurately that person without a word puts a sign on the counter: closed.
