Recently I learned that my Humana Medicare Advantage plan would no longer be accepted in 2026 at most of the doctor/hospital facilities in the City of Lynchburg. DO. NOT. WORK. THERE. The manager is completely incompetent and does not understand how to manage a human services office! They are 4 Care Managers and are all very much overworked due to the way the place is run. The program director requires her to be CC'd on all emails in the office and requires follow ups with everything! she is so focused on minor details that most issues and problems are either ignored or not even noticed. I applied over a year ago for help with roof repair and have had no help. They sent a roofer out here but so far I can't get any response. I'm not asking for a new roof just repairs.
Reference Housing Division - Weatherization Program: This organization is inefficiently run. They request potential customers submit a very detailed and lengthy application, wait 60 days for a weatherization assessment, then tell the homeowner that the home may have had work done 13 years ago, but cannot readily produce documentation supporting such or definitively state what work just "looks like" they may have done it.
