Things just arent as the reviews indicate. This place cant keep help even at 10 bucks an hour! As far as sales help with experience, this tells me something. Also, the place looks to be so hard pressed that a couple cans of paint cant be purchased. Times may be hard but I wonder if I buy anything with a warrantee if the place will be there to honor it next year. One trip through the store and I dont need to go back. Prices arent competitive.

Wonderful store, staff went out of their way to help me get a part for my faucet that I was having a terrible time finding.
First, Cut Rate is an excellent, established business. The staff is very knowledgeable, and most of the time can help you with questions other retailers dont even know how to begin to answer. Ivan and Paul are great resources, as well as the rest of the staff.Second, no retailer could survive buying their stock from another retail establishment, then marking it up a few bucks.
