I won a judgement against this custom sounds almost 10 years back. The judge ordered the manager to refund my money and my court cost for a speaker system they wouldn’t let me return. I still haven’t received a dime from custom sounds. But hey it’s okay, The judgment has interest attached to it so the longer it goes unpaid, the more money they will pay in the end.
Upgraded my Jeep Rubicon HR's headlights and fog lights. Not only do they look fantastic but they work amazingly well. The install was seamless thanks to the amazing staff at Custom Sounds & Tints. I had no idea this place does any lighting but a friend referred me. Really happy I took his suggestion to come here. The customer service from everyone in the store was truly phenomenal. Aaron (the manager) helped me and was beyond knowledgeable. I'll be back soon to customize more of the Jeep.
Had a custom box built for 4 jl 10's in my f250. Box was built on time and fits great. Don't know what it sounds like yet as I haven't installed the jl amp to push them.
I called the Austin location to check stock on a particularly hard to find dash kit. They did not have one, but the Burnet Rd location "did." I asked the gentleman to please call ahead and hold it for me as I would be there in an hour to pick it up. After driving from Burnet Tx- three counties away, I get to the Burnet Rd. store to pick it up. Took my 2015 Highlander in about a month after I purchased it early last year for a nearly $6,000 system. All was well for a few weeks, then the problems started. Since then, it has been in the shop 12 or so times. Each time the discussion either goes... "we can't reproduce it" or "it's not our fault". Each time, there's something else wrong. So far our processor, 2 amps, and a speaker have been replaced under warranty. We lost our SafetyConnect from the start and IT STILL DOESN'T WORK. We lost Bluetooth calling at one point... read more
This place is a joke......both the S Lamar location and Burnet Rd. I have had to deal with them both, neither could get it right.
Custom Sounds was brought in by Sportsmobile to furnish a full audio/video install for my new Sprinter van. I live in Florida, so there was a whole lot of coordination that needed to take place. Matt Graef was assigned the job and from the very beginning, he handled every aspect, from the initial consult to final install. He was always available to answer my questions. I could not be happier with the professionalism of Custom Sounds.
