I have been a patient for several years and I have always received excellent care. The staff is caring and explained procedures to me and Dr. Patterson always takes time to talk to me in a social way , not just in and out after the procedures.
Having a skin cancer removed was actually enjoyable since Dr Patterson is lovely to look at. I did not feel any unpleasant sensation: but I suspect she did remove the lesion as I left all taped up. The staff at Current Dermatology are all competent and very pleasant. If you have time on your hands go have some skin treated.

I am a long time customer and stopped by to ask about treatment for poison ivy. They had no compassion for my suffering and were only concerned about how to get paid. They did not have a hand out for this common issue. I can no long be a patient because of this greed.
It takes a while to get an appointment to see Dr Custer because she is the only dermatologist in town. Office is well run with well trained staff. Dr Custer is a very knowledgeable and caring physician. I highly recommend.
There is only one doctor (M.D.) at Current Dermatology. So, when you make an appointment there, you most likely WON'T see the doctor, but will be fobbed off on a physician's assistant or nurse practitioner. And they WON'T tell you in advance that you're NOT going to see the doctor. So, whether you're paying insurance premiums or paying out-of-pocket, and if you expect to have a DOCTOR'S expertise brought to bear on your skin problem, demand to see the doctor (and only the doctor).
Seems to be good to me - I've never been to another dermatologist - they stay busy. I had a melanoma - she looked at it and knew it and was pretty matter-of-fact about it -- the nurse alleviated my fears a bit better and gave me more info. Took a while between lab-certified diagnosis and deep tissue removal - but Dr Custer was good at what she does. Hurt like the dickens - but she numbed up and added more meds to the area each time I felt pain. All in all - good experience.
I received a certified letter stating that they could not provide me with further dermatology care since they have not been able to appease my requests. I did not have any 'requests'. After several unanswered calls to find out what they were talking about, I had my records sent to me and will not be using their office in the future due to their lack of patient care.
Unprofessional in their business ethic. Charged for a follow up appointment which consisted of two minutes time from someone who was not even a doctor. This place is pathetic.
