Dr. Is kind at first and explains conditions well. She has poor staffing and fails to communicate with patients. When signing up for important medications neither her nor the staff are competent. Her wait list to get in to see her is weeks to months long and then you get in and never hear from her or staff again. No follow up on MRI or for prior authorizations. If you take a medication that needs a monthly refill, you might be waiting a very long time to get your next dose.

Dr. Curtis was genuinely interested in my story and how it related to my visit. She went over a past MRI with me and we talked about options to try and the probability they would help with my presentation. She was realistic and appropriate in her approach. She answered all my questions and was very kind and supportive.

I saw her one time. I liked her a lot. That appt. made me believe she understood my complex case, she read and understood my diagnosis from my neurologist at Stanford in CA, she would help treat me, and she made clear she knew trying to get the medicine I've been on for years was hard to get insurance to pay for, but she'd done it for other patients and we'd make it happen. Long story short, she's now decided she doesn't give this medication on this disorder. So why did I waste my time? When I pushed back she said that I don... read more

My Father is a patient of Dr. Curtis'. He has always had difficulty in contacting her to ask/answer questions or to get a prescription refill. I too am unable to get through to her office to request a much needed Parkinson's prescription refill for him. My Father and other family members get the feeling that she really isn't interested in having him as a patient. Sad....

Dr. Curtis was able to get me in quickly and spent lots of time listening to my issues. She was happy to help me explore many (non-opioid) options for treating fibromyalgia pain and symptoms. Her office is willing to fight with insurance even when don't want to pay for most treatments and is helpful exploring different programs and options to be able to afford the medicines that work best.

I am only giving her a one because she took the time to see me. She talked to me badly, she would not address my needs, and whenever I would call her office with the same complaint that was never resolved , her MA would tell me I had to come in even when she saw me the week before. Her office overcharged Medicare and then tried to make me pay the difference. Needless to say I found another neurologist quickly.

That means "0" stars. Dr. Curtis was belittling, arrogant and wouldn't even examine me or listen to my story before she made a spur-of-the-moment diagnosis (which has been declared incorrect by two other neurologists, one at the Cleveland Clinic). Not only did she not help me, she told me there was nothing wrong with me and that she refused to see me again. I would never WANT to see her again, but indeed I do have serious issues as explained to me by the physician at the Cleveland Clinic. My husband and I were both shocked b... read more

Dr. Curtis listens, cares, and serves her patient. She asks questions to determine the whole medical puzzle. After 5 years of searching for a medical answer with many other doctors, Dr. Curtis found it. I finally have hope again that I can live my life.
