Updated 10/8/25. I was in SD again and got another beautiful curl cut at Curl Concepts. I was pleasantly surprised to learn Marlo had moved to: 12750 Carmel Country Rd, San Diego, CA 92130 It's closer to my family and is a gorgeous new space! Thanks Marlo! I had a great first appointment with Marlo and learned a lot. The haircut looks great and it is one that won't need frequent trims as it grows out. Talking with Marlo was like being with a long time friend; she is very welcoming, warm, asks what your preferences are so you are comfortable, and it was overall a very good experience!

I have really fine, wavy hair, and it’s always been hard to get a cut that actually works for it. I first went to Marlo about a year ago, and I just went back again yesterday. Same great experience both times. My hair looks fuller and healthier, but still feels like me. She listens to what you want, does exactly that, and gives suggestions, but never pushes anything. I've never had a better haircut experience - Marlo is a wonderful, bright, engaging woman. She listened intently to my concerns and past issues surrounding the handling (or mishandling) of my hair, and was very respectful and perceptive in my comfort of having it touched.
