One of the worst dining experiences of my life. The portions were so miniscule that I literally didn't get to eat -- my boyfriend gave our food to our dining guests from out of town because the amount of food was so scant. Ordered bread and out came 1 tiny piece on a huge bread board. Almost comedic. We each had 1/4 of the piece of bread. Service was terrible. Acoustics were lousy. Very good food, service was very crisp, meaning they were very aware and attentive. The food was obviously made with care and complex. Talented chef. Mediocre beer selection. Desert was very nice. Local commonplace coffee was a real bonus, best coffee around and they knew how to make it. Cost was appropriate for the menu and quality. Very kind server, 'Matilda?' Very nice, should be rewarded for being very professional.
