I was on the hunt for carrot cake in Chattanooga and had heard that Cupcake Kitchen, Federal Bakery, and J Alexander's had the best. So, I got all 3. And I gotta tell you - Cupcake Kitchen takes the cake! The cake itself was fluffy and perfectly spiced, and the frosting was just right. We also liked J Alexander carrot cake (though it was a bit heavy on the coconut, not a normal ingredient for carrot cake), but if you're looking for a traditional carrot cake in cupcake format, Cupcake Kitchen is the winner by leaps and bounds... read more
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I absolutely love The Cupcake Kitchen! Every time I come, I’m blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything is. My personal favorites are the Italian Cream Cake and the Almond Raspberry – they are pure perfection. I also can’t get enough of their Wedding Cake flavor. The cream horn was magnificent. Crunchy, flaky pastry, rolled in sugar with a not too sweet filling. My husband laughed when I said WOW 3 times while I ate it. We also got a couple of cupcakes and a cookie sandwich that were delightful. We would love to go there again, but we're from out of state. Thank you for the yummy goodness.
