While the hospital didn't harm my child, they also didn't help him. The place treated the concerns as a joke telling me he is danger to himself and the family but isn't a danger to society YET. The weekend staff responded and was more detailed in reporting and taking information than the regular weekly staff members. Very disorganized. doctor was condescending and downplayed everything. I checked myself in because the dr I was under provided me with anti socotic drugs which was wrong. All sounded great until they locked the door behind you it was PURE HELL. They never listened to anything; they treated me like a subpar human. They threw me in a room, never telling you anything or listening to my needs or concerns. Absolutely a NIGHTMARE , with post-traumatic stress disorder !!!! I checked in because I was having an ADRINALIN storm, I am a very active individual thrives on being and staying busy. I had a partner commit suicide, my business burnt to the ground, i lost my mother and father in the same time frame...... Cumberland hall didn't care. they never diagnosed me, Treated me like worse than an ANIMAL. They never listen to you, only to usher you to their pre cookie cutter programs!!! Discharged a family member while they were literally mid-psychosis. That family member was then taken and admitted to a different hospital. The clinicians here are an absolute joke and got their physch degrees from a Cracker Jack box.

A patient there a couple of times. No problems with other patients but one nurse thought her time was worth more than mine and I didn’t say anything but another patient did. Not long afterwards I went to a facility in Nashville. I was there for addiction which withdrawals even with meds isn’t fun so for a nurse to take advantage stating she had only 30 minutes to eat so she cut in front of me was ok. It wasn’t. tied down and gagged; I couldn't move, I couldn't scream. twas a nightmare from which I couldn't awaken. DOn't send your kids here!!!!!!!!

If i was to rate my therapist i would give here as many stars as possible . But since I’m rating the overall experience here at the hospital i really wanna give this place 0 stars .. but that’s not possible! Staff is very rude and unprofessional! Ms amber was the best thing to ever happen to this place without her this place would be an absolute disaster! Misty is also a great receptionist too! ~precious white !

RUN! Do not go in. It is almost like a kidnapping. Don’t say no one didn’t warn you. These people don’t help they hurt
