Butter burgers and frozen custard Culvers is located on a major street in Sauk City and easy to find. It has ample parking. Culvers offers a full menu, with the specialties being butter burgers and frozen custard. The other items offered on their menu are very good also. The food is freshly prepared when you order, so it does take a little longer to get it. It is well worth the wait. This is a very nicely decorated restaurant with indoor seating and also umbrella covered tables outdoors. It is kept very clean inside and out.
Recommendedstaff was second to none, food was excellent
Ordered cod dinner and shrimp dinner with salad and cheese curds. Shrimp was ok. Cod was greasy. Cheese curds were small and way overcooked. The worst I have had. Salad was staring to wilt. Not going back.
Culvers is running like a well oiled machine! They are working the parking lot like Champs. So appreciate the hard work and smiles while they're doing it.
So happy to not only have the very 1st Culver's in my hometown but also to have had this as my 1st job for almost 10 years, they have tons of pride in their company and their employees and the people they get to serve.
Please get rid of the paper straws. They are gross.
