The "news"paper has become nothing but a gossip page. I have lived in this town my entire life and am so tired of the local "news" just being someone's opinion piece. Where has the actual news gone? A newspaper is supposed to contain information that is true and accurate. I simply cannot read this opinion piece any longer. This news is very one sided, I followed for local news but got propaganda.
Too biased, rarely talks about any news happening on the local level.
I appreciate the local information...but i have to question most things based on their posts on everything else. Seems very biased and propaganda filled. I can look at other newspapers for that...
Propaganda, slanted/spun articles, and the turn to a more national viewpoint/narrative. Stick mostly to Culpeper. Tell us about the good things going on and hold those accountable who are not contributing to our community in a positive way.
Totally out of touch with the community. I sense that this is the staff's first job as they wait to be noticed by the NY Times or Washington Post.
Your new owner and staff have become just another pretender of news. Done with your type of opinion vs investigative journalism.
Recommendedit is a great small town newspaper.
