I received adequate care but I found it a little insulting to speak to the doctor for literally under 1 minute, and my nurse had a bit of a " bored and irritated" demeanor.
ED needs a lot of help..they dismiss the family and information.. Diabetics needing insulin not important. 1st nurse was ok 2nd shift not so much.. I had to ask numerous times for lab results and have yet to get them, just told they were ok.. not the answer I wanted... Doctor had to be asked to come to room.. he never introduced himself to patient on admission.. Bad experience..
I took a Family member there, as they weren't to busy, we got to a room quick. As for the nurses, They seemed bothered to be there..very unfriendly except for 1 the main nurse. The others were smug an i can tell looked down at us. Also, how do u ask someone questions when they can't talk? Smh. An asked to repeat there name over 5X?? On every occasion they entered the room? I wish you would relocate the status chart from where the patient always sees it. Our patient in his confusion was fixated on it and asking over and over questions about the info on it.
They seemed to be concerned about your health and welfare, they were very friendly
