I stayed a the UVA Culpeper hospital recently for 5 days following a procedure and simply wanted to express how impressed I was with the folks there. Following the procedure the care given was impressive with everything being explained and the staff following the procedures and protocols was tremendous with the foremost thought (at least from my perspective) given to the patient. This was top, down even the cook and maintenance staff followed the processes and cared to even talk to me as a recuperated. Thank you!
Most of the nursing staff and some doctors show no respect. I have came in the er with two life threatening illnesses and both times they swore up and down that they couldn't find anything wrong. After my discharge I went to Charlottesville to Martha Jefferson and was admitted almost immediately. Came in another time by ambulance and same thing. Wound up going to UVA medical center in Charlottesville and again was admitted almost immediately to the hospital. I can't trust them.
My dad went to the hospital with chest pain and stomach flu
The doctor walked in and out in less than 1 minute. I tell her my pain never changed with the treatment they gave me but she had her nurse come in and tell me I had what she thought and gave me the same treatment. I say I don't want to be in pain for the next couple days, so they try to give me zofran which i have told them doesn't work. I have tooken their treatment before, at my house. Definitely do not recommend or trust them with anyone's life !
