My account was suddenly closed without any prior notice, simply because the balance went to zero. I never received a clear email or warning—just a generic “secure message” that gave no indication of the issue. As a result, I couldn’t transfer money back to Taiwan in time. This was an extremely poor customer experience and very disappointing. I strongly suggest anyone considering opening an account here to think twice. I have never seen other major U.S. banks operate in this way.
