My son and I are always treated with respect when we come to this plasma center. The staff member Nathan thanked me for coming in that day. I was taken aback or staggered or surprised by this. I have been to more than one plasma company where the people act as if you are inferior or less than. Not so, at Longwood they are displaying their brand statement in action not just words. They are representing CSL well!
On August 4th, 2025, I went to donate at this center where I usually go and have always been treated with respect. But this time there was a tech named Kendra who was extremely rude and arrogant. She yelled at me in front of everyone just because I didn’t understand a question she asked. Hello — not everyone who comes here is doing it just for the money. Nice staff but definitely very understaffed. Please stop blasting music on the donor floor so loud. There’s no reason I should be hearing that over what I’m listening to though noise cancelling headphones.
Yesterday, I walked in at 3:35 p.m., and I saw less than 10 people in front of me. Something was wrong with the machine checking my heart rate. It had counted 112 beats per minute. I sat for over 20 minutes because I heard the lady saying she thought I had left, so I was skipped a lot. Then, my heart rate later was 74 beats per min.
