OK first off I been coming to csl for more then 3 years and never ever have I been denied being able to donate! Well today was the first time when a business is pose to lock there doors at 4 that means any one could show up untill that time well they locked the doors at 455 he saw me getting out my car at front door and still locked door not to mention your closed on Sundays so now I gotta wait till the week to donate this shit messes up my routine schedule to donate and work! I am a first time donor. I have donated blood hundreds of times through Red Cross and other donation places(all free). I decided to get paid for my donations, and it still goes to a good cause. When I entered the Academy location on a Saturday. The staff was very nice and professional. After watching a video and answering questions, I was able to meet with staff to continue the process. After a few months of going here I can now accurately say the staff and management here is frustratingly lazy and inefficient. Average weight time is around 2.5 hours. 1.5 hours if you’re lucky, but 3.5-4 hours is not unheard of here. They easily take 15+ minutes to get a new person on a chair after a disconnect, and not only that, it’s expected to wait 10+ minutes after you’re done donating to have the needle taken out of your arm. Lair is truly one of a kind. Professional, dependable, and always goes the extra mile. You can tell he genuinely cares about the people he works with. Everything was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!
Generally very efficient. Would definitely recommend as way to help others and make a little money at the same time.
