The wait times to donate continue to get longer and longer. I would advise you to not donate at this plasma center. Unless you just have 3+ hours to waste! Somehow the time to donate actually got even longer. So, the center got new or different machines and literally half of them are out of service. The machines are faster than the old ones, but now the already overworked staff has to do twice as much work in half the time. Unfortunately that is not happening. They have a high turnover rate, but do their best to work as quickly as possible. They are always understaffed especially on the weekends and the new machines seem to beep and mess up more than the old ones. I dont mind that you dont have to make an appointment because i have a busy schedule and i like to just walk in. Overall not bad and clean environment
While they always solicit for donors, lines are always really long and you stand for a couple hours. The new machines don't seem to make it any faster.
New machines and lower staff ratios make for double to triple the amount of time you need to be there. Taking about 3 hours on average for my last 5 donations. Plus, they have reduced pay and removed donor benefits.
I have been coming to this location for almost 4 years now and tbh the new machines are stupid I come in at 330pm and usually don't leave now until 630-700 that is ridiculous especially since y'all lowered the pay and it's now taking any where from 2 times to 3 times the wait time fix y'all's business or get petitioned to shut down y'all are a joke now nobody cares about there job except a select few and even then the ones that care are the only ones doing something I will be going to the bwb and reporting the whole business... read more
