I went in to donate plasma today for the first time. My spouse had gone the day before and they had accepted a voter's registration form as proof of address. A manager, in fact, was the one who said it was okay, along with a nurse. When I went in today, with the same exact information, they told me that it was not proper documentation. At 7:00am this morning, you know that really tall guy with short brown hair and black glasses, I'll get his name but I've seen the reviews and I think everyone's talking about the same guy actually. This grown man was talking down to not only me but to the guy before me. First hes waving people over with a weird attitude, then hes telling me "dont touch the table", "which finger? Will treat it's fresh blood like gold. But if your a new donor they don't care if your standing in line for 30 min or 2 hours. No sitting, squatting, kneeling. If you cant stand you cant donate. Its thier NEW POLICIE. Bad back, bad knee not the place for you. The manager said he'd post notice of policy but none to be seen. Just verbal threats. "If you WANT to Donate you HAVE to STAND!" Which is exactly how they choose to notify me.
