One of the nicer facilities to donate plasma. Clean and open. Yes it sucks to get turned away I know but it's for the safety for the patient potentially receiving your plasma.
CSL Bloomington has gone from bad to worse! The wait times are ridiculous, the staff is rude and judgmental!!! First they accuse you of being a drug addicted ( shooting up in the arm) make you show proof from I had a doctors appointment and got blood drawn! I’ve complained to corporate and no one ever calls you back! Then they accuse me of other stuff that’s not true! I need a lawyer! Bloomington is the worst location! All the bad reviews on this place are correct. They do whatever they can to deny you. I'm a trucker and I donate at many CSL locations across the country and came into this location only to be told I can't donate until I donate twice at my home center, which I have, otherwise how would I have been able to donate at many other csl locations.
This place is a joke. I have now been turned away twice. The first time for being 1% under their hematocrit cutoff, and now for “small veins.” This time they were fast but only because I came in around 6 PM and they clearly just wanted to get me out the door so they could go home. No smaller needle, no warming my arm, no effort to actually make it work, just a quick dismissal. Staff is great. The new process is absolutely terrible. It shouldn’t be a 3-4 hour process. Add more staff and/or machines or open another location
