Had a rude staff member, gave her my name and birthday at the same time. Apparently that was too much information for her because she rudely raised her voice and said " I didn't ask for both!" I gave her my birthday and she snapped on me and said "I can't look at my phone!" I wasn't even looking at my phone, I was looking away from her because of how disrespectful she was to me. I am a type 2 diabetic and I take insulin injections. I googled this and it said that diabetics can donate plasma. I checked the CSL website and did a questionnaire and nowhere did it say that taking insulin was a problem. I spent about three hours filling out paperwork watching videos and getting signed up and then when that was all done , they told me that I could not donate plasma because I took insulin. The customer service has been less than good , especially today as i had to see a nurse due to the bruise caused by csl last time, and as my cell was dying , i ran out to my car for my charger and they told me i had to rescreen for 1 minute tomget this. The waiting times suck and the lines are long . I thinking of going back to biolife where u are treated great, their fast and dont have the same stupid rules as csl. I think they make up their rules csl.
Poor customer service, long wait times, and apparently a US Passport and a real ID which are the most valuable documents that show your identity are not enough proof to show you are who you are. Pathetic! They wanted the physical social security card! Who carries that? They made me drive 1hr to get that response. Will never sign up for this crappy plasma center.
Was told I'd be making $100 for my donation since it was my second time. 4+ hours waiting because they're understaffed to find out I only get $45, and that's AFTER I gave my plasma!! I understand it's generous to be paid anything, but it felt dismissive and disrespectful
