Very poor communication throughout the under contract and closing process for a $1.5M building. Closing statement was delivered for review late (after countless requests) and had far more errors than is typical for a first draft. Of the roughly 20 emails over 2 months, more than 2/3s went unanswered. As someone who deals with 10+ companies who do the same thing each year, rarely has the experience been this frustrating, would not recommend Crystal Title in Delray for title and closing services.

We unwittingly gave our security deposit to Crystal Title and Escrow before learning that it is owned by the same individuals as the realty company listing the property. We have spent months trying to get our deposit back after they acknowledged the unit was in perfect conditions by hiring a lawyer, filing a small claims suit and other attempts at reimbursement. Their latest excuse for keeping our money is that a realtor left a rug in the (unfurnished) unit and wants a new one. They also tried to evict us in the first week b... read more
