I’ve been bringing my pets here for about 18 years. Dr. Melgey & his staff are very compassionate and nice people. Over the years I’ve trusted them with boarding, cat baths, dental, surgeries and routine exams. Also Dr. Melgey is very good about providing written estimates for major procedures and is honest in his business dealings, which is important to me.

I currently take Becky to Crystal Lake for all of her care. Before that, I took my 2 previous dogs (Sonrisa and Cosmo). It was Dr. Melgey and staff who helped us say goodbye to them when the time came. I trust Dr. Melgey with all of my dog's medical needs. He cared for Sonrisa for years with lymphoma and it's many medical challenges. During my active time with rescue, I also took many rescue dogs to the clinic and all of them were well cared for.
