Can't wait until we go back this August! I love everything about it - the beaches, the seafood, the relaxed atmosphere, the lighthouse....
Returned a few weeks ago from Pine Knoll shores and I am ready to go back already......Was such a wonderful vacation that I wish I could return again soon. I so loved the area and walking on the beach, it was perfect.
It isn't crowded, the seafood Is great. The locals are friendly. Hatteras Village is my favorite. There is lots to do all up and down the coast. Love the litehouses and the fishing village at Okracoke. Enjoy taking the free ferry there. Great memories in the Hatteras Sands campground. Felt like we were in another world.
