Staff there were were all nice. That said, were they as helpful as they could have been? Not by a longshot. The hospital is set up to look visually top-notch, and it looks great inside and out. Kudos. But where it really mattered, which is easing stress for patients and their families and making the surgery experience as easy as possible, CC failed miserably. It would take another 1000 words to tell it. Go somewhere else.
Never came to waiting room to take me back to see my mother before her surgery. Said there was a mix-up. They give you a four digit number to track progress of the patient you are waiting for on a spreadsheet shown on a TV. Of course they can't arrange them numerically so your reading comprehension needs to be fast or you'll miss the status you are searching for. Terrible experience.
Amazing facility! Feels like a highly rated hotel. My wife stayed overnight after a complete knee replacement and got great care. Surgery went well and the room she stayed overnight in was like a spacious suite. Food was very good and everyone that provided care was awesome and friendly. Very positive experience. I would highly recommend this orthopedic hospital and our surgeon, Dr. Pakin, to anyone looking at having an orthopedic procedure done.
Scheduled for an MRI at 6:45 PM. Walked in the door, which is a mile away from the check-in desk and the receptionist started asking me questions. I couldn’t hear her and I told her that I couldn’t hear her. Finally got close enough and she was asking me where I was going. My husband was with me and I said to him once we sat down I couldn’t hear her because we weren’t even in the door yet.
