I went here during mid afternoon. The food was ready quickly and the service was great. I wanted southern food and it was great. I love fried ocra and gumbo. I couldn't pass on the dessert ... peach cobbler.
I always love Crystal's Beer Parlor. The beer, food, atmosphere, free parking. I send everyone and bring everyone I can! Never a bad experience, the wait is always worth it because the service is just as amazing as the food! Everyone is always so happy and has great recommendations. Huge draft selection you won't find anywhere else with the freshest house made dishes. I never miss a chance to come here. The food is fantastic. I had shrimp and grits, one of the nightly specials...best I have ever had. Love the blue chips with melted blue cheese and bacon...my favorite. I have never ordered anything that was not great. The service is just great. So worth giving it a try. Fantastic..*****
Atmosphere and service were excellent. I got the special the blackened salmon and it was lacking in flavor and it was overcooked and therefore very dry.
The wait was crazy and hot as we sat outside with no shade. Took forever to get a server at our table. We watched a table be sat and drink orders taken as we waited on our server to acknowledge us. My daughter didn't like her hot wings. The fried green tomatoes could have been better. I asked for a water w a lot of lemon which I got w none at first then three. The shrimp was good. The fries sucked. My spinach salad was good. We won't be back.
