Great crab stew and cornbread!
Nice older place. Food was good, staff friendly. Beer overpriced but to be expected in a tourist town. Would go back.

We found this restaurant through friends, we take our out of town friends to this Jewel going back for something new.
I Grew up eating at the CBP, and if asked what I wanted more than anything, I would reply, "a CBP burger and fries... My last trip, after two attempts to get a hamburger cooked medium - and the first one was so burned it would have made a great hockey puck and the second was raw and bleeding, it will be my last trip.
More often than not a shrimp salad sandwich, a cup of crab stew and a Guiness. Too good. But then so is the fried shrimp platter and so many other items. Great value.
Great food. Blackened shrimp, coleslaw, stuffed blue crab are great. Try the Palm ale, too.
I'm in love! The wait staff are very nice, helpful, and prompt. There is an ambiance unmatched. The food is superb! The real reason to come to Savannah!
