Wonderfully Kind Our Boston Terrier woke up unable to walk one morning and after a rush to the vet was quickly was diagnosed with bilaterally luxating patella's... requiring surgery. The cost of surgery on two knees was very high where we live outside of Washington DC. We talked to family in Westerville,OH who recommended Cryan. I called the vet the day of her injury and Dr. Ratliff called back within the hour. He took over an hour to listen to our pup's situation and explain in detail over the phone what he would do. I felt... read more
Wonderful experience! We recently moved to Westerville & have a 3 yr old cat & are in the process of fostering &/or adopting a stray kitten. On July 3rd we got the kitten & tried to get an 'emergency' first visit to our current Vet's office before taking the kitten into our house with our current cat (because she'd been outdoors), but they were unwilling/unable to accommodate us. In a panic, we contacted Cryan at the suggestion of a friend who takes her cats there. The Receptionist was so friendly & accommodating to our circ... read more
Great Vets I started coming to this vets office with a recommendation from our home builder. Cryan was not able to get us in right away but we were okay with that because it was not urgent. I'm sure there would have been an exception if there was. Their office staff is WONDERFUL. I've never met such a personable group of people. One of my dogs had been diagnosed with mange in Florida and we were in the middle of the move while trying to treat her. Cryan changed her from dips to medicine and it was gone! We were able to then ... read more
Only Good Things To Say... We were affiliated with one of Westerville's "big business" vets for 14 years with our dog and spent thousands of dollars. Each visit required, extra tests, etc. adding up to bigger bills at our check out. All the while they were expanding and remodeling, leaving me to wonder if all of the "extras" were really necessary to my dogs care. The vets and staff were nice enough but strictly business. Our dog passed away and when we adopted a new puppy I decided to try Cryan Vet Hospital partly because th... read more
Cryan Veterinary Hospital killed my dog We had a 6 yr old Pomeranian that had been developing symptoms of Cushing Disease for about a yr. His hair did not grow back after being groomed. Blood work was done, the vet explained that the white cells were elevated but she didn't know why. We had to ask her to test his thyroid, it was extremely low. We told her that he could no longer jump up on the couch, and had difficulty climbing stairs. She said the muscle mass in his hips was very low, but she didn't know why. On Mother's Da... read more
Excellent care without breaking the bank I have used Cryan Veterinary Hospital for years. Most recently I had a Chihuahua puppy who was failing to thrive. She just would not grow and continued to have sugar crashes. I took her to Annhurst for a second opinion and they recommended expensive tests and wanted me to see a specialist at Medvet which would cost thousands. The staff at Cryans know that while we all love our pets there are limits on our wallets that prevent us from spending thousands on a puppy that was more than li... read more
Wonderful, caring vet I have been going to Cryan for years. I was always very pleased with the level of care, but a couple of years ago, when it was bought by a new vet, the whole place was even better. When I call for an appointment, I don't even request a specific vet, because I feel they all provide fantastic care. My dog, who used to hate going to the vet, now gets very excited when he sees where we are. He used to never take treats from the staff, but now he goes right to where they are and tries to get into them. We ha... read more
Very unhappy with level of Care I had been taking my poodle to the same veterinarian for 6 years, until a move forced us to switch veterinarians. My poodle had been previously diagnosed with a heart murmur where routine blood pressure, xrays and bloodwork were performed to monitor this condition. Upon coming to Cryan I discussed my pets heart murmur with both the DVM and the technician and never once were any procedures recommended to check the status of my pets health. I returned 6 months later for a routine visit and again... read more
Caring and Compassionate I started bringing my dogs to Cryan a couple of years ago. I was not happy with the vet we had been seeing. They were extremely expensive and I couldn't seem to get out of their office without spending a minimum of $100 for even the most basic care. At the recommendation of a friend, I switched our dogs over to Cryan and they have been wonderful. We recently had an emergency situation with our 10 mo old puppy who ate something she should not have eaten. I was in touch with them from the start of the ... read more
