We had a fantastic experience renting an RV from Cruise America for our family trip to North Cascades National Park. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. We were even able to pick up our RV early, and the staff was extremely friendly and professional. The representative who gave us the walk-through was patient, thorough, and made sure we understood how everything worked before we left. BEWARE OF THIS OUTRAGEOUS COMPANY IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR HOLIDAYS TO BE WASTED!!! We had a horrendous experience with our rental. We've booked a one-way trip from Everett/Seattle to Mesa/Phoenix between 9/12/24 and 9/21/24. We flew in from Europe, on 9/12 we picked up a campervan, we took it on a ferry to Kingston shortly thereafter, then we stopped on a campsite nearby, only to realize the next day that the unit is infested by cockroaches (a few were running around the vehicle, later we found the whole nest). I have rented from Cruise America 7 times and always had a positive experience. This time it was the opposite. The RV we were given was showed significant wear, but that was OK, but it was missing seat belts. We said we needed the seat belts for our 4 kids and they were not willing to accommodate that request initially. I tried calling the 1-800 number and they were no help. I asked to speak to the manager and was told I could send him an email. Finally I was able to talk to one person there that was reasonable and found us ... read more
