Impressed about their detailed explanations about the vehicle, how and where to perform services (e.g. dumping), how clean they had the RV we rented. I was able to park (for a fee) my car at their site while renting the RV. Price is also hard to beat. Would definitely rent again from them.
Booked a two week RV trip. RV was our choice so we would be able to camp/cook rather than eat out and deal with hotels. They sent us out in an RV in which the refrigerator was not working during initial walk-through. The rental agents disconnected and reconnected some wires, pulled a fuse out and put it back in and said, "That should be fine." It WASN'T fine. We spent the next two weeks dealing with it. I personally had a WONDERFUL experience renting from Cruise America. Pauline was such a dear to me! She did seem a little dispersed at times but, ultimately on top of things. I decided to book a 25ft for 7 nights for my one way move from Florida to California. Probably the worst retail experience I've ever experienced. Besides having to listen to the managers personal problems for 15 minutes. The 26' RV was a disaster. We have owned rvs for 20+ years. Just sold ours so as snowbirds needed a rv for a few days. My mistake was not looking it over and rejecting it before leaving the lot. Got it to our campsite.
