My wife canceled two days prior to her appt and she was not told that the deposit was non-refundable. Either way, out of courtesy, Ms. Birdie could have at least given back half the money. I'm sure she was able to find a replacement. People are just too money hungry in this world. My wife and are taking care of both our Mother's and one has serious health issues right now. My wife was going to go to this lady Birdie - she talked to her on the phone and sent her $200 for a deposit. Two days before the appt we came to the conclusion that traveling 2hrs one- way to get the micro-locs was unwise - so my wife called to cancel and this woman wouldn't even give her back half of the deposit! I understand Birdie held the appt time, but things change in people's lives, and to keep $200 for holding an appt is absurd
