Water went out. Night falls and room is freezing called for assistance 3 times. Over an hour later someone comes to let us know only some sections of room have heating! Have had heat set to 90!!! Over 2 hours only down to 63 degrees...from 61. Not even worth complete sentences!
I would get writer's cramp trying to tell you how great the crown plaza is. Even though you are surrounded by fine dining the food here is worthy of food network and the rooms are modern and so clean they passed the white glove test. The staff is actually concerned about your stay, if I worked in Houston I would live here. The bar is kind with a pour and the security is top notch, it's an oasis in the city. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO EVERYONE traveling in this area, I would drive out of my way to stay here.
Great staff- we had a problem with the first room- door lock wasn't working - so they moved us to another room on the same floor. The atrium is beautiful and the elevators and inner courtyard add to it. Hot tub and pool were great and the breakfast is awesome. The room was large with comfy and plush bedding and pillows. The balcony was a nice touch. Parking lot was well lit and the doors that were not in front had to have key cards to get in so we felt secure. Great stay and we plan to be back. Everyone was nice..Clean and big suites for the price of regular room.Clean pool and hot tub area.Great food and prices...great views
My family and I have been staying here on and off for 6 1/2 months as I prepared for and since my surgery in May. And my husband is also handicapped. The whole crew have been especially helpful and kind. From housekeeping to front desk. And to be recognized and welcomed each time I arrive is a great feeling. The shuttle van was always available for us (with plenty of notice). The prices are very reasonable. Anytime I had a problem it was handled quickly and with no rudeness. Yo this hotel is awesome I came here with my cousins and my auntie and her boyfriend. It was lit I got rented a room for me and my cousins and sister and another one for my aunt and her boyfriend. IT was really CHEAP in my opinion I could do this again sometime.
