Yum! – Very good food, enormous portions, friendly service. Just get past the trannies in the parking lot, BYO (no fee0 and you're all set.
Crown of India is in a small, sketchy-looking strip mall, which is unfortunate, because it has terrific food and great deals. There's a thali special, where you get 15% off. And the portions are quite large- you're sure to go home with leftovers! I would highly recommend it- don't let the sketchy area fool you, it's a great restaurant!
Great new Indian restaurant, good customer service, fantastic food – For a long time, I've been dying to have a good Indian place nearby in Hollywood. There's a few nice ones west of La Brea, but come east and it's like a ghost town for Indian food. Well guess what, that's changed with "Crown of India". Excellent Indian food at a great price – This restaurant opened earlier this year, and I have to say that they are now my favorite Indian restaurant in Los Angeles. The head chef used to work at India's Grill on San Vicente, which is also well known for great food at very reasonable prices. The chicken tikka masala, (free) mango chutney, and curry are all highly recommended! Worst Indian – This was the worst Indian I had in LA so far. yuck. I will never order from them again. It made me sick
