A family member recently died at Kansas City Hospice House and I cannot completely express my gratitude. The Palliative Home Care Team did such a great job keeping him home until the disease started to accelerate. A case of pneumonia sent him to Intensive Care, where he was miserable. He couldn't breathe and was so uncomfortable, trying to find a position that didn't hurt. When he transferred to hospice house, he was immediately comfortable and could breathe again. Our Dad was admitted in to the North Care Hospice House on Tuesday 16 March 2018. The care they have shown not only Dad but the entire family, especially me as I've been spending day and night with him, has been amazing. There are not enough words to say or stars to choose to stress how much we appreciate what you do for us.
If I could give these folks 10 stars I would I spent an entire week in with my mother and never one time felt as though my mother was just another patient. If i hit the call light almost immediatly there was staff at our door, they listened to my concerns and were so very helpful to my family. I cannot gove Praise enough for the staff at Northcare Hospice at NKC...thank you all.
Our family has had a rough year and sent 2 angels to heaven through KC Hospice House. After the first experience I knew that if another family member needed a safe loving environment to pass this would be the place to come. THANK YOU to ALL the staff for your unconditional love and support you have shown our family. You are Angels as well! God Bless You and continue to be a loving, compassionate place for families and patients. You are all amazing.
My dad was only my there here for 2 short days in 2013. The staff was amazing the little time we were there. They greeted us by our names and were very caring.
Wonderful people during a very difficult job. They are very knowledgeable and make a very challenging time much more understandable. Very thankful for them
My dad passed away 10-10-17 here. We were able to spend his last week here with him. I can not say enough nice things about his nurses, Kim, Stephanie, Sharon and Deanna. Everyone there was so nice and understanding. Thank you for all you do.
