We bought a truck with an active safety recall still listed incomplete in the official NHTSA VIN database. Federal law (49 U.S. Code § 30120(i)) is crystal clear: a vehicle with an open recall cannot legally be sold. Found a car online that I wanted to purchase. Verified it was still on the lot and went to buy it. Arrived and was told it was on hold for a salesman that wanted it for his mom. It was still listed and still sitting on their lot. Car sales already has a bad rep, what a poor way to do business.
Having purchased 5 cars and trucks from Crossroads Ford I appreciate the " no nonsense" way of doing business. All transactions were quick and straight forward. I never felt as if I needed to shop around once I said I was ready to purchase. I don't have days to travel around trying to save 100.00 here or there. Time is more valuable than money. No games.
