I lived in an apartment run by Crosspointe for nearly a year when they told me that they should have been charging me for water this entire time. This was THEIR mistake; the contract said that they would split the water bill between me and the four other occupants, but because of a software error, they forgot to do this. What should a company do when they make a mistake? Most would take the loss. No doubt the amount their charging, they could.
