We've been with Drs. May and Howell for almost ten years, with almost as many cats and dogs. The staff never ceases to be kind, honest, compassionate, and knowledgable. What speaks most to me is how patient and understanding they are of fear-based aggression in their patients. They never turn us away because one of our pets is behaving poorly out of fear, nor do they recommend unnecessary sedation for these behaviors. Their #1 concern is always the wellbeing of our furkids.
I have been taking my dogs here for about three years! These guys are for real! They really care about your pets! They are very kind & gentle to the animals & courteous to me as a dog owner! We had to put my little dog, Chuy, down last year and the doctor AND her helpers were so sincere and helped both myself & Chuy through the whole process and made it as painless as possible for both of us! These are very special people. Dr. May has taken care of our pets for almost as long as he's been open. And we are so glad Dr. Howell has joined him. If you want the best care for your pet and family member, you won't find a better place. If there is a way to help your pet be with you longer, they will find that way. And, when the time comes for that to longer be possible, or good for your pet, I assure you they are the folks to know that, too. Somehow, they even soften that, as well.
RecommendedThe only vet I will ever consider taking my dogs to! They have been nothing but patient and wonderful with me AND my two dogs. I have moved twice whilst we've been patients here, once to East Central Austin, and I never considered switching vets. Just decided to make the drive because they are the greatest!
