Dr. Crossett really saved my sanity. Ive been operated on by him 2x. Once was a femur implant revision and the second was a tibial implant revision. Dr. Crossett is kind, caring, and empathetic. He works fast, and not everyone "gets" him, so they get offended and write a bad review. He replaces parts, thats what he does. I will say that I owe that man for life. Lots of pain in left knee and cortisone didn’t help so Dr Crossett told me his business is to replace parts and mine didn’t need replaced ! No offer to get a MRI or any pain meds or any direction for help! Had to wait 3 weeks to get an appointment with another dr who ordered a MRI and I have a torn miniscus! Only go to him if you definitely need a replacement because he’s not interested in helping with anything else!
Wonderful hip replacement results from a previous hip replacement “gone bad” in another hospital and surgeon out of town. 1st Surgery - we were transported by ambulance 3 times to ER in the same week to have the hip “put back in place”. After this it “came out again” in the same week so the ER docs took my husband by ambulance to. Shadyside Hospital under the care of Dr Lawrence Crossett. He was phenomenal! I’ve been recommending him and his staff to everyone who has a hip problem. You won’t be disappointed!!
