Rodrigo Ballon does not care about you or your purchase. His team has a few people that actually care about helping you out, but you can't trust Rodrigo. If you are a first time home buyer stay clear of Cross Country Mortgage and Rodrigo Ballon.

Loan officer Pat Larkin is overtly bigoted. See his comments on a LinkedIn thread below. If you're black he'll probably treat you with contempt and throw your mortgage application in the trash.

Rodrigo is the best! He gets right down to business and gets the job done. He was always available to answer all my questions. Michelle is also amazing. She is professional, knowledgeable, RESPONSIVE, and easy to talk to. They helped us have a very smooth and quick escrow in one of the most competitive markets. 100% would recommend and work with them again.

Took two months, bunch of paperwork and still waiting to hear back from them, eventhough we have our loan approved by another lender the community we were looking at needed these people to approved our loan. Horrible service. Waist of time. Zero call back. Do your selves a favor, find another mortgage company.
