On 1/14/2019, my vehicle was towed by "Innovative Towing & Recovery," and dispatched by "Agero. AKA: CROSS COUNTRY AUTO." "Agero" is a Third Party "Emergency Tow" company contracted by both WEBTEC Insurance Services Inc., AND Mercury Insurance. More important, while "Innovative Towing & Recovery," with NO "LLC" - through the State of California Secretary of State, significantly damaged my vehicle totaling to the amount between $2300 - $2900. Jerry Diecidue, Agero's Supervising Damage Team, whom is contracted through Mercur... read more

Dead battery in the Volvo this morning. I called Cross Country and was told my membership had expired. I replied that I had renewed two months ago and had my new card in my hand. "Well, you don't show up in our system." I read the rep my confirmation letter. "We are a third-party business and have no way of accessing the Volvo records." I'm canceling tomorrow and going with AAA.

Awful company. They charged me for a tow saying I wasn't covered but I actually was. Of course out of desperation I had to do it. Also, unlike AAA, they will not replace a battery for you on the spot. Terrible experience more times than one. I have switched back to AAA and I don't know why I ever left, they are the same price.

They took my vehicle to their facility instead of where my insurance company had instructed them to go. Then proceeded to lose my vehicle by taking it to the wrong place the next day. It was a horrible experience.

Complaint Description: Called Hartford for Road Assistance after hours, was told we were not covered (which we were) CCMC charged via CC of $99 for tow 2 miles away. We have AARP Hartford auto insurance with road side assistance. Called for tow service for our disabled 2003 Lincoln Town Car (11/26/17) PM and was told we did not have road side assistance coverage, but was verified Monday (11/27/17) AM with Hartford service department that we did in-fact have all coverage-rages. Yesterday, Cross Country Motor Club charged our ... read more

Awful experience with this company. Customer service reps were rude. My wife and I drove our car (that probably should not have been driven) to another area so our insurance company would call someone else.
