Courteous staff, explained all aspects of testing, thoughtful and empathetic.
Pleasant, fast and knowledgable.
I was referred to Chester Co Eye Assoc for a cataract evaluation by my regular eye care doctor. Front desk staff and the tech that I ran me through the pool of tests were very friendly. Dr Arena came in at the end of my visit after my eyes were dilated and did the necessary examination to determine the level of my cataracts. Had a visit with her today as I wanted to discuss my "glaucoma suspect" status and need for yearly checks. I was told by another provider in the office that I did not need these annual checks due to the normal anatomy of my eye and to f/u with Dr. Arena for visual field and other testing. When I asked about the etiology of my diagnosis and my actual risk her response was "How often do teenagers have heart attacks?". She was rude, dismissive and never reviewed the tests I had done that day and dismissed me with a "see you in ... read more
Very happy with my first visit last year to Dr. Arena; tomorrow will be my second. She definitely keeps up with the latest research and has a very soothing manner.
Had to have cysts removed on eyelids. Dr. Stark and his assistants were professional and helpful. However, front desk employees are not friendly at all. Equipment lighting faulty had to go to 3 different rooms until everything was ok. Not sure if I want to return.
Unfriendly staff - not knowledgeable. Had several tests done with professional techs then Dr. Stark walked in as if he could have cared less about me and what my issue was. Was rough, Told me nothing except I had dry eye and should get drops. Wondered why I had a certain test done. staff told him it was because of the finding last time I was in. 'Oh..I guess I should look at that'. Completely uninterested, rushed, unprofessional. I would not recommend him at all.
Dr. Arena is very knowledgeable and explains things in detail in a way you understand. She also went out of her way to help me with a problem after hours. I highly recommend, Dr Arena for all your eye care needs!
My experience with Dr. Arena has been excellent! She is not only extremely knowledgeable re her field but she is warm, caring and exhibits those traits when caring for her patients. She is ready and willing to answer any questions with in depth explanations, Her expertise, and her warmth and caring come through every step of the way..
