I can't really recommend much because of my Shellfish allergy but the New York Strip was Great!
Let me just say if they bottled the praline sauce and sold it I'd buy a dozen and hook each bottle to a iv in my arm. I thought that i have had beignets all styles, but nothing has blown my mind as a beignet drizzled with praline sauce . it was decadent and sweet. Beautiful foggy night after Christmas spent in our fave NOLA establishment Criollos! Jonas was our sweet and superb server, decor on point, the Shrimp Bienvillle exquisite, the lovely bread basket paired so beautifully w the Fleur des Lis cocktail, and the flourless chocolate cake to die for! Another 5 star rating!!
We had one of our best meals in recent memory at Criollo—a 5-course Christmastime menu. Fantastic food (although rich), good-size portions, exceptional service, and a quieter atmosphere than many of the restaurants in the Quarter. The hotel is also charmingly decorated for the holidays.

Walked past many times and today we went....not disappointed. Had the red fish and the scallops and I wanted to lick the plate. Food and service were outstanding and the chef even brought our food to our table!
Beautiful restaurant and delicious food! I had the strip and husband had the duck. Creme brûlée for dessert! Friendly staff!
Enjoyed our 31st Anniversary dinner there. Had the Angus Filet with Shrimp and Scallop. Food was great and they even treated us to a special dessert to mark the occasion. We will be back.
