Delicious restaurant. Everything is prepared on site even the bread. A must when visiting New Orleans. Also Carousel bar is right next door.

Great food, great atmosphere, great location. The pork chop was thick, tender and delicious! Next trip back to New Orleans we will stay at Hotel Monteleone and we will be eating at criollo's!

First the service; Larry and Charmaine (sp?) were helpful, friendly and available - our cups and glasses were always full - on one of their busiest days. The eggs Benedict and grits were perfect, coffee was hot, fresh, and flavorful. They even "arranged" for a parade to go past our window. I've never been disappointed whenever I've dined at Criollo.
It's a beautiful restaurant and the waiters are very pleasant and helpful. I went there with a group of friends and we had a special menu of some kind which wasn't very good. First of all the two appetizers were shared, in other words they didn't even give us each our own plate of food they gave us a plate and a bowl in the middleof the table that we had to serve ourselves from. This is not something a hi class restaurant should do in my Opinion. I can't eat crab or shrimp and I told the waiter this. There was no vegetarian ... read more
