Bait and Switch When I called to ask about having the carpet in one small room cleaned, they told me it would cost $69 in total. We made an appointment, and their technician arrived today to look at the room. He immediately announced that the carpet was a very nice wool Berber, and as such, should not be steam cleaned ($69) because it might shrink, but needed a $199 shampooing.
