I'll start by saying the steak is as great as everyone says. We had the porthouse for two and it was delicious. We also had a curtained booth which was a lot of fun. The sides and service, with the exception of the busboys who were very sweet and helpful, definitely caught me off guard for a nice place like this. Such a great steakhouse. One of the best in New Orleans and I think the oldest.
Bacon-wrapped filet is divine paired with potatoes au gratin, sautéed spinach, and garlic bread. Be sure to save room for their house-made desserts. Nancy is an awesome server!
