the food was great also the service
Waiter brought my fried green tomato appetizer out and it was cold. So cold and soggy that the breading had separated from the tomatoes ( shrimp, mushrooms and cream sauce cold ). I told him it was cold, said he would warm it up (thought he was joking about nuking it) he literally brought it back 3-4 min later after it was put in the microwave. The food is okay. We ordered chargrilled oysters and they were so tiny we had to really look to see if they were actually there. Service is very slow if you have more than 2 people in your party. Each time we’ve gone there we had 6 or more people and it took forever to get our food. My husband finally went to find the manager to see what was taking so long. 3 couples came in after us; got their food; ate and left before we were served. Nice place and great food 🥘
I used to love this place. If so ever got close to Hattisburg, I would be excited to be able to eat here. The last time wasn’t equal to KFC. This truly makes me sad. I was always thrilled to be here. Now, I’ll just chalk this up to another restaurant that tries to rest on its past success.
Service was good, but almost every food item we ordered that should be “HOT”, was “warm” (at best), and what should be “WARM” was cold.For the price this place charges, it is a huge disappointment. The only bright spot was Jessica, the manager, and Belle, who Did everything they could to make it right.
Waitress was very slow. Had to ask for iced tea 3 times before I got it. The restaurant is very nice, but was expecting better food and service. The crab cakes were more breading than crab and my husband's chargrilled oysters were subpar. Disappointed.
Everything is fantastic, the food, the staff, the atmosphere.
