We stopped here on the way to our destination. The waitstaff was delightful ( Destin) and the food was OUTSTANDING. The food was served promptly. It was worth the drive for sure. Everyone had on masks. Salads were fresh , Grilled Mahi with crab , Zydeco chicken , and white choc bread pudding was divine!!! A superb dining experience for this couple !!
Service was slow!!!! My child accidentally turned over my drink. No one came to help us clean it up. I had to ask 3 times before I was brought a new glass. They screwed up our appetizer. Got a new one after our meal was brought out. Appetizer was disgusting. Mine and my kids meals were cold. Mine was also very bland. Tonight my husband and I dined at Crescent City. When our food arrived at our table, mine was terribly wrong. Within just a few minutes the waitress brought out another plate. We both thought “WOW” that was fast. When she sat the plate down I smelled something terrible. Then I began to cut into my chicken and it was very undercooked. This was the source of the smell. My wife and myself have eaten here SEVERAL times in the past. Normally the food is exciting and delightful. The past 2 times though, the food has went from sub-par to just bland, undercooked, old and no where as described on their menus. I must admit, the service was good. We have eaten here several times over the years. It seems though the past 2 times it was very disappointing. i ordered the Seafood Crepes. This should be called sticky over cooked white rice with tiny taquito size things buried underneath. My husband ordered a shrimp poboy..basically a lettuce and tomato stuff french bread with 7 shrimp in it. Saving on food cost??? On the other hand our waitress was polite and attentive. The service, atmosphere was great but for some reason the food was not.
